Our Outdoor Areas

Our Walmersley nursery has fantastic outdoor facilities. Kindergarten, Toddlers and Pre-school all have their own play space designed to be exciting and challenging whilst remaining safe and age appropriate. Each area which has been landscaped with all-weather surfaces to create natural and fun environments for the children to learn and play in.

We have a wide variety of features such as climbing frames, mounds, slides and shelters, not to mention our very own Mulberry Bush pirate ship! Various activity panels are located throughout the outdoor areas for the children to investigate and enjoy. All children take turns using the vegetable patch, planting new seeds or sometimes just digging for mini-beasts.

As well as providing endless possibilities for exploration, outdoors is also an excellent place to express different feelings and emotions with places to be quiet, relax and daydream. Outdoor play is an important part of every child's day and whatever the weather the children get plenty of fresh air.
